MISSION

Our mission is to reduce the use of e-cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis, and other substances among youth in the communities of New Trier Township, consisting of; Glencoe, Glenview, Kenilworth, Northbrook, Northfield, Wilmette, and Winnetka.

VISION

We strive to build and sustain a safe, drug-free community where our youth feel protected, confident and empowered to make healthy choices. We want to transform the environment around our youth so that their mental health needs are supported and the drug-free choice is the easy choice.

We invite you to join us for an exclusive screening of the film Screenagers: Under the Influence, and hear from local experts and professionals on the issue of youth substance use, social media, tips for teens and parents, and more. This event will be hosted at Youth Services of Glenview Northbrook on Feb 1st, 2024 with doors opening at 6pm CST

This event is appropriate for ages 12+, and childcare will be available

Screenagers: Under the Influence

Dr. Crystal Collier, author of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide, defines brain-based parenting and how to easily integrate brain-savvy prevention skills into daily practice. In this presentation, Dr. Collier will describe the prevention science principles that work to increase youth skills and prevent engagement in high-risk behaviors such as vaping, cannabis use, and technology overuse.
