Erika’s Lighthouse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting adolescent mental health and preventing depression and suicide through education and awareness. Haven Youth & Family Services is a nonprofit organization that provides counseling, crisis support, prevention programming, and youth development services for teens and families throughout the North Shore community. Haven also operates two free after-school youth drop-in centers: the YO in Winnetka for 8th–12th graders and the Warming House in Wilmette for 6th–12th graders. These centers offer safe, supportive spaces where teens can build friendships, participate in activities, and receive mentorship from staff.
